Default Dual Exhaust

I'm going to be putting dual exhaust on my 07 V6. I was planning on using the 3 in. V8 pipes and 4 in. V8 tips, and connect it with an X-pipe.

I'm looking for the best sound I can get. How will these sound on a V6?

Thanks guys!

Hey VCS, Can I cut off my midpipes after the 1st set of cats and do straight 2.5" duals back from there? I figured it'd work, since 3.8s are even firing engines... and what's the name of the mufflers that are good? Flowmaster 40sor something...
(2.5" pipes is what I want, btw. )
