Default RE: superchargers?

Those $60 electric superchargers are not worth it, they don't do anything. The real electric superchargers are an alternative to nitrous oxide. When used they anihalate both turbochargers & superchargers in power output (gain over turbochargers @ 12psi is usually around 20 hp), but the boost pressure is limited. The most output by one so far is 12psi for like 15 seconds. Which is good 15 seconds is more than enough time to do your thing. They aren't made for 8 cylinders, not enough airflow. They are perfect for 6 & 4 cylinders though.
