Default installation price

i drive a 2000 v6 mustang and i live in anchorage, alaska. i just got my motive gear 3.73 gears, truetrac and motive gear bearing kit. I went to 3 different shops who specializes on drivetrain, and they're all asking for $700. I think its little overpriced. Im running out of options, and if i cant find a good place to get my stuff installed, i'll probably just pay $700 for installation. im probably the only one here from alaska, but in any chance that someone here is also from anchorage who knows a good place, please let me know.

$700.00 seems a bit high for just install...but then again, i have no idea what the economy/market is like way up there. good luck, nonetheless.

wow! i wish they would only charge me $400 and use that extra $300 for some other parts for my car. $700 is a total ripoff![:@]

Yeah, at $700 I would have put in a 8.8 rear end in.

go for it, man, and good luck. make sure they stand by their work, like a 30 day warranty on their labor, or something of the sort.
