Question About Engine-Swaps.
If I wanted to swap a 4.6l V8 engine for my current 3.8l V6 engine, out of another 2004 mustang (same year as mine), What would I need to do to keep both cars running? Will I have to buy any new parts or anything?
Why?
You'd need to swap motors, motor wiring harnesses, computers, trannies, rear ends, front suspension, dash cluster and wiring harness.
You'll probably end up spending money on misc hoses, clamps and gaskets once you pull motors out and find stuff worn out.

if i were you, sell your car and buy a gt... you'd be looking at so much. My buddy was going to do this, and i just sat and watched him get mad frusrated he didnt have a car due to money for parts .... not the best idea
i mean, im not a god like lil roush. but i know that doing that would cost a hell load. building up a v6 could be amazing and smoke a gt.
thats what people are starting to do these days, i would rather have my 3.8L i have now than a gt, its fun to mod it up like hell. but i understand
you just want to swap engines but i cant help you on that one
