Default Headlight Issue

Ok I bought my 00 last week and it has some issues im working on. One is the headlights wont come on...I turn the **** and pull it out..not sure which one u do as Ive never owned one before...regardless no lights and no daytime lights either which I think its suppose to have....BUT the high beams come on like a champion and I checked the bulbs they look good no broken filaments and they actually look new.Any suggestions? One other issue if anyone can help is my a/c blows through defrost and floor, ive heard about bad hoses....where can i look for those hoses..inside or under hood? Thanks.

pull out the **** and turn it to the left just and stop just before it clicks. the click is the dome light, if u turn it to the right it dims your instrument panel light. if your daytimes dont come on but your brights do that means your headlights are burnt out. change them both. as for the A/C i have no clue.

You need to check your fuses. There is a high beam and low beam fuse.

yea i say fuses for the bulbs...........the a/c thing souns like either a bad hose or a vaccum canister is leaking. Something is not sealed correctly anymore. Your best bet is to just take it to a shop so they can find the leak

I used to have the same problem with my A/C, just blew through the defrost vents. Check the main Vacuum hose that runs along the firewall. Also, check the vacuum canister as already mentioned. GL

As for the Headlights, probably a fuse or the low beams are burnt out, it happens, the low beams are used way more than the highs.

+10 on the vacuum line. I had the same problem about 3 weeks ago.
