new engine

what engine should i put in my mustang to fit with the trans, and where could i buy for a good price, want something to beat the gas pricesc cuz its my daily driver

I don't think you are going to get anything more gas friendly inyour mustang engine bay. Mods like cold air intakes, exhaust, udp, etc. will help gas mileage fyi.
