loud = almsot always bad sound when it comes to the v6 Mustang.

About the best muffler you can get would be a Flowmaster 40, super 40, or 44. The Force Pro Series Mufflers from Summit are good too.

the vortex isn't the loudest. but it does sound the best on a V6. the loudest would be a glasspack.

the loudest exhaust would actually be an open header. def. dont wanna do that. sounds like....a really cheap, loud, commercial lawnmower.

i had a glasspack on a 2000 v6 buick century, it wasnt tht loud but it did sound good, at least i liked it, it was pretty deep and throaty. right now though i have a set of force automotice mufflers waiting to go on my dual set up.

what you need to do is get a dual set up, and not worry about how loud it is, worry about how it sounds. things can be loud (riceburners) but then people turn there heads and insted of saying that sounds good they will go damn he messed up with that setup it sounds like s***
