Pulleys aren't really for daily drivers.

Unless you buy an overdrive pulley for the alternator you will be boned if your car dies from alternator failure.

Here is performance....... I know nothing of the true mods for looks.

10. Rear seat delete
what do you mean "boned" is that another term for screwed?
and what is a rear seat delete?
Boned does mean screwed.

And a rear seat delete is removing the back seat with a kit that dampens the noise. Lose lots of weight. Which weight is a bad thing for performance.

pullies work fine on daily drivers. if you have some badass system and/or use a lot of power, then maybe it's a bad idea, but otherwise, it'll be fine. as for the rear seat delete, it doesn't really lose that much weight and i personally think the versatility of having more seats is worth the extra 20 lbs or less.

ya i wouldnt think that a rear seat would be that heavy, and it would look ugly with out it.[&:]

I would highly recommend suspension and gears. The car will be more exciting to drive.

The last set I bought is a new McCulloch kit from eBay (item 7950167635). I also have bought a couple of MeccaTune kits, which are not junk but are inferior in quality to the McCulloch kits. If you buy a kit, be sure to get a true HID kit and one that uses relays in the kit wiring harnesses. PM me if you're interested in why relays being used in the circuit is important. MeccaTune kits are also still being offered on eBay for cheaper than the McCulloch kits, but they do not use relays and the overall quality of their kits are lower in my opinion.

To anyone considering HID kits, beware of buying anything from www.3GMtrading.com, also doing business as www.cartech.com

I was thinking about getting UD pullies, but I have a 2500 watt system. How come pullies are a bad idea if you have a powerful system? I take it it's hard on my alternator, but why? Also, how much do pullies really help you out? Is there a significant increase in your rev time?

8" Shorty Antena
Painted Interior Pieces
Powdercoated Calipers
Jimmz - Where'd you get your 8" shorty antenna? Do you like it? I think they look pretty sweet. Does it work as well as the factory antenna?
Also, how much of a pain was it to get you calipers powdercoated? Are you happy you did it? Thanks!

i would say
1. exhaust
2. cold air intake
3. gears

those would be a start...just need some extra kick...then if you want to continue go turbo or super charger

i think he said UD pulleys are bad if you have a big system is because, what the pulleys do is spin every thing slower there for your alt. wont be produceing enough power for the stereo. heres a link for some UD pulleys:
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6asp.htm
and if you read on the page just over half way down it tells you what your alt. will do with certain things on:
well i just copyed and pasted it for you anyhow.
