My plan is to put the mufflers before the rear axle, and to curve the pipes over the axle. I'm just saying everyone wants an h or x pipe. why not just run two separate pipes from the headers to each muffler?
Well if one gets plugged or something, theres no way for the exhaust the get out i suppose. Im assuming thats why, but i might be wrong. Anyone care to jump in?
if i'm right, h and x pipes are intended to even out back pressure on non-even firing engines.
our engines are even firing, so two divorced pipes should be ok, right?
i am running duals that aren't joined by an h or x and it is fine. sound is great. they say its to even out pressure . but we are only running sixes .. not an issue at all. considering what stock was..
