just have a couple problems with my car:

1.interior light doesn't go onautomatically when the car door is opened
2.when car is locked or unlocked it doesn't beep.

 

As for the lights I would start by checking out the lights and seeing if they are burned out. If so then thats a quick run to autozone ftw. If its not that then look toward traceing the wires and seeing if a wire got climped near the door or something.

Does your lights work, but not when the door opens? Do you have only 2 lights or more?

As for the beeping, are you talking about the horn sounding when you hit the lock button twice or you talking about a alarm sound being made when you lock/unlock it? To my knowledge stock mustangs do not have that feature. At least my doesnt but I bought it used so not 100%.

as for the lights..check the fuse panel to see if the fuse is burnt out along with the lights and im not so sure as for the beepin..

 

do the map lights works? if not, check fuse #7
when you hit the lock button twice, the horn should sound and the lightsshould flash

 

ok thank you, i'm going to look at the legend for the control box to see if there is one for the beeping.
