So I was out today trying to install my MAch 1 Grille Delete kit on my 2001

the rubber grommets that hold the stock grill on that are located on the top have screws in them and those screws all except one just spin in place and will not come out..

anyone have the same problem or a solution or idea??

 

You need to put some pressure on the grommet if that makes any sense, you just wedge something in and pull it up, also for these, any downward pressure you put on the screw is going to cause you problems. If you can get under it (remove headlights) you can just pop it up from underneath too.

 

Yeah i had the same problem with only one that wouldn't come out...you'll be fine by just getting a flat head screwdriver underneath and prying it out.....thats wht i did and it still worked later on when i put the kit on
