I used autolites in the mustang, trans am, and corvette. Why use anything else, unless you're on the juice?
Because I'm on the boost!

What about the spark plug wires? Is there a major difference between the ones available besides their price? What are you guys using?

Nobody has mentioned Motorcraft... I think. I have Denso Iridiums, but honestly think I wasted my money on a more expensive, yet excellent plug that would be just as good as a Motorcraft or Autolite.

MSD, Autolite, or Motorcraft all make great plug wires. Don't upgrade your coil pack, it's a waste of money unless you can't find anything else to mod.

The S/D coil pack is pretty power full however, with my stock coil pack I could pull a plug wire and would have to keep the wire RIGHT ON the pack to hear/see any spark arcing. With the S/D I tried that and it was pretty SHOCKING *sniff*

But you are also boosted, so it might be worthwhile. Definitely not worth it for a stock or modified car like mine or 90% of everyone else on here.

You do not have to upgrade coils unless you have problems in the high rpm range as the stock coil does lose power as rpms increase but not really that big of a problem. You only really need to think about upgrading is if you are using F/I or if the stock one dies and you want to blow some spare cash.

I use autolites as well and they are great, not pricey and gives no problems.

I didn't say if it was worth it or not...

Just that its a bit more "shocking" than the stock coil!
