for DIY?

As seeing as you have no clue about painting to begin with, I dont think you want to attempt it.

The key to paint is prep. The more that is spend making sure everything is smooth, clean and exactley the way you want it the better your finish. Then you get in to the world of actually painting.

Several thousand dollars if you want a good job. I myself wouldent consider a paint job on a car unless all of it was done right. Door jams, tight spots, under hood and in trunk.

Your best bet is go check out a few shops and ask them. Off the bat I might think around 6K. Remeber, atleast $100 per hour for labour.

I can tell you that for a quality job depending on where you live will run anywhere from 2k to 5k. Wherever you go, dont go to maaco. You will be a victim to your thrift after that.

For a full color change done with true quality, you may as well buy one that's the color you want. It'll run around $5-7k to be done right.

check the fog lights on ebay, they are about $40-50 and you can install them yourself. The paint job price varies, the cheapes you can do is to go to the junk yard and paint the entire car for $400-600, but they do very poor job which is: they leave some particles that fall from the sealing, some sand that may come with the wind(as far as i know they don't have paint booths). Once i asked in one shop with a paint booth and the mechanic told me "don't consider me crazy but that would run in about $2500." also some one from photo section in this forum wrote that his paint job costed him $980 + the paint itself + he helped the mechanic.

honestly man, mineral grey looks good. i think you should leave it.

as for fog lights. the 40 to 50 dollar estimate is WRONG. They only sell you the lights. No harness or hardware. A full kit off of ebay will run like 80-100 bucks and and OEM one is a lil bit more spendy.

I got mine in. And its an okay installation. The hardest thing is holding the nut on the bracket while youre trying to screw the bolt thru the bumper and the bracket. Oh and lack of light and space sucks too. But its about an hour job or so. Get em, its so worth it.
