Your reading this right. I got the Service Engine soon Light on. Scanned the ECU.

Got the P4101 code. After reading some forums I changed the DPFE Sensor. It was a 50-50 shot at the problem. Versus the EGV Valve.

Anyways... started the car again and reset the codes.

Now for some reason the Sevice engine soon light will not come on during start up. I know it did before when you turned on the car and then it turned itself off after the other lights did.

A bit hard to explain sorry. I hope you guys can help.

i understand what ur saying but i dont know why just that one wont come up

 

Sorry... What I meant to say was the others are coming on and off normally but the Check engine soon isn't doing the same like it did before.

 

pull the cluster and check the bulb, iot'll take all of 10 minutes.

 

I thought that. But the light work just prior to me clearing the code so I find that unlikely.

I'm gonna try reset the ECU by removing the batt cables for a bit and see if that works.

 

Why not try the easiest steps first?

 

check the bulb,

the low fuel light burned out on my toyota..... that wasnt a good night
