hey there,

Typically 2 inches is the most any one ever drops. When you go two inches, you are recommended however to also get new caster/camber plates to avoid unnecessary pressure on your tires from the drop.

However, i've read that dropping 1.5 inches does NOT require caster/camber plates so this is what alot of people do. The 1.5 drop is low and noticeable so I dont think you'd be disappointed.

It's recommended while swapping the springs to also change struts/shocks if they seem to be old (maybe over 100k km).

Good luck, your car will look sweetER once dropped (all stangs do)

I think your stance looks good already, you New Edges sit alittle lower then the SN95's I think. 1.5" should make it look pretty sweet.

I'm lowering mine around 1.5" with eibach, beefed up sway bars, and new polytype bushings.

LOL! and I thought what I was thinking was bad..

Yeah 1.5 is perfect, I wouldn't go any lower than that. You will still need camber bolts for the alignment.

ANYWAYS...some friend of mine told me that the down side (pun not intended) of lowering ur car is that people who do alignments or balancing charge extra for those services... that true??
