does anyone know if you can switch the 7.5 for an 8.8 out of a lincoln town car (mustang is 97 and town car is 95) the length from back plate to back plate vary from my stang being around 55 1/2 to 59 1/2 for the lincoln. i would like to do this without major fabrication. any help is much appreciated.
