ok i got the x pipe with no cats so it throws codes but they were on to begin with my question is should i buy new o2's or is it pointless since the lack of cats and i bought the mil eliminators and they didnt work for me but im tired at looking at that light and want it off

 

did you get the computer reset after you installed the MILS?

 

Do you have the Front 02 sensor's as that will cause a check engine light MILS work on the rear 02 sensors.

I would also try to reset the computer.
You can just remove the negative cable or do a hard reset which is remove negative cable and touch it to the positive cable for 30 sec's then wait about 2 min then reconnect the negative cable. We do this alot at the dealer to reset all the computers.

 

YA I have front o2's in but no front cats and ya i reset the code it comes back everyday

 

the front o2 sensors are on the manifolds/headers, if you ment rear o2s and no cats then that will set the light off, you need MILS for the rear

 

yes i have the o2's in the front in and rear but only the mils on the back and still a light

you shouldnt get any codes from a catless x pipe ive had one on my 96 and sold to my friend with a 02 no problem with check engine light
