i was wondering if there was a after market intake manifolds and what CAI should i get?

 

Intake manifolds have to come from Super Six Motorsports or Delk Performance.
CAI ... get a cheap one from American Muscle.

 

another cheaper intake upgrade is that one off of a 96?+ 3.8 windstar mini van will yeild some power, however no one has a dyno/time slips to show what they give

 

depends on how much you wanna spend. there is plenty available for the car. im going with a stage 3 powerpak from supersixmotorsports.com. it is pricey, but the gains will be good, and itll be even better when i build the bottom end and boost it.

now, if you are more in the couple hundred bucks range, id stick with just an intake from stangmods.com. itll be worth a few hp, and it is fairly cheap. unfortunately, to go real fast cost money.

 

Best performance is had by a hand crafted intake manifold.
The Windstar intake is nice but a PITA and doesnt offer the power increase that SSM's sheetmetal intakes offer.

But then again you are looking at $50 bux to $800 bux

ahh i see lol jk. as for the intake american muscle's 80 dollar mac intake has been out of stock for 2 months and will be out another month or 2 trust me i know i waited 2 months and then called them and was like ok 2 months are up and they didnt have it. not there fault apparently mac has changed the design and hasnt got it finished yet so. YaY for EbAy i got one from ebay and i am installing it tomm.
