t-lok broke

Default t-lok broke

so when my studs broke my t-lok also broke .. i jacked up the rear today and only my back left tire spun so problem found, now to solve it.

Thats what you do for a street stock class racecar-- you weld up the spider gears in the rear end to get posi-- i wouldnt do it in a street car though, i was just joking.

Yeah, I was going to say i would not weld a diff for street use.

lol ok i ordered another one but it sucks cause right now i have 2 mustangs but cant drive either

lol, it would corner like sh*t if you welded the spider gears together. good for straight line, though.

maybe you should call the place you ordered the tlok from and invest in an upgrade, while u are at it? ive heard too many people say the tloks are breaking...on not so much over stock power, either. and i OWN a tlok!

might be worth it to spend the couple hundred extra bucks for a detroit truetrac, or an eaton lsd...

A t-lok can be rebuilt for cheap. It's nothing but a stack of clutches, and if you get them to remove one of the steels, then you can have 1 more clutch in it.

It's normally done [S][C][S][C][S][C][S][C][S][C][S] (C=clutch S=Steel)

they can do it [C][S][C][S][C][S][C][S][C][S][C]

There's a shop in Houston that did mine like that, it actually made a difference.

so u think i should rebuild it? it didnt break from too much power at all it broke when my studs snapped and my left side of the rear end dragged on the street
