Default blacked out headlights?!

i have the blackout/smoked whatever covers from american muscle
i also have 8000k HIDs, if you look at my pictures, HUGE light difference
with the covers on.

does anyone have any suggestions on what to do, with keeping a blackout
of somesort, which looks really good.

HID fogs would probably help but for now, what should i do with the headlights
i dont think smoked would be dark enough though since im an all black mustang

i have stock headlight bulbs and smoked headlights from AM.....maybe you need to see an eye doctor if you cant see...i can see perfectly fine at night with my headlights, and i dont even have HIDs

oh and smoked is too light? i drove my buddys truck the other day and he was following me in my car, they looked pretty much black to me from more than 10 ft away

you have the smoked headlights, the lenses come smoked already. 1. thats not dark enough to compliment the all black (believe it or not haha) 2. I have the covers that are black plastic, which would be alot more restrictive than stock bulbs

its not dark enough? youre an idiot dude....i got a great idea, get some PJ1 black spray paint and just paint over your lights....seeing is over rated...not one person ever has thought my lights were not dark enough, you should get 5% tint on your windshield, the clear window doesnt compliment the black enough...oh and not to mention behind the glass is painted black, but thats in my imagination too of course...

its no wonder i avoid the v6 section of this forum....im in a bad habit of hitting the new post tab which shows topic from every section.... you make no ****in sense dude.... you come here bitching that you cant see through black plastic covers, then say smoked looks bad, wtf do you want us to tell you? "use the magical clear plastic that shows all light through it, but looks black to the naked eye"....this thread is a complete fail, and youre an idiot for even posting it...if you have an issue seeing, dont put black plastic over your lights... obv. smoked lights are not what youre looking for, so why even make this post? there is not "headlight" suggestions...if you make your lights completely black, you will have issues seeing....and i wasnt joking about the windshield

i was saying im sure theres a way to get them black somehow and still see pretty good. black is for looks. maybe tint on them could do it. its suggestions dude. and v6's can still be really good. look at ryansquick6 and 03sixbanger. they worked their way up from scratch and learned from asking stuff and researching. i am too. go to your section of you dont like this one.

do you even know how tint works? it blocks light...if you black them out (5%) only 5% of the light from your HIDs is going to come through, and you still wont see ****....you cant make them completely black and still see perfectly....idk why that wont sink in....and sure, i have no problem with v6s, i could really care less how many cylinders a car has....its just that a strong number of people who drive them are dumbass high school kids who know everything and use NO common sense....put a piece of black cardboard over your eyes and tell me if you can see through it...then put a piece of black construction paper over your face and tell me if you can see through it.... you wont see through either, even though one is thinner than the other...5% tint is going to let through the same amount of light as your 5% covers...you can get 20 and 35 % tint also, but thats just smoked which is not dark enough for you....i fail to see why you just dont understand this...

okay right there you werent an a*shole. but when i see people who have "smoked clear corners," some seem darker/more smoked than others. its not just the lighting the picture is taken in either, some are darker than others- is that true or is it just the picture. in your pictures you just put they seem darker in some pics than the others

its the picture, and distance....like i said, from more than 10 feet away from a front view, they look completely black, from a side view, you see the painted the walls so they appear darker than a front view where you see a bulb... "smoked clear corners" if you mean the retail lights, all have the same tint... i believe its 35%, but dont quote me on that
