I'd go suspension, tires, and gears first

What is done to the car that make it carry power beyond the limiter now?

uhhh i thought a 2 step was set up so when the car is stopped and with no load you can rev it to say 3k to launch and it will have the limiter at 3k then the second it gets a load it goes back to your normal set limiter?

I vote practice launching instead.

I vote new tires!!! I had the same problem... (haha).. and new tires pretty much ended that.

And A little practice to your launch will never hurt. You can learn where to rev too in order to minimize wheel spin and your 60 time.

You can modify the EEC-V tune (with appropriate tuning software) to program a 20step limiter. I have my street tune set for a 2800 rpm "step-1".

Here's what needs to be changed...

I vote practice your launch. If all you're doing is spinning, you're doing something wrong.
