Unhappy Cold air intake for a 3.9

I am looking for a cold air intake for a 3.9L v6 all the ones i have found are for the 3.8L are they really that different or can i put one for a 3.8L on my car. If not do you know of any sites that sell them foe the 3.9L.

they will work all basic bolt ons are the same the only difference is some internal things

also dont waste your money on big name intakes the cheaper ones gain the same as the ones that cost several hundred

i think you can use the same CAI for the 3.8 to 3.9

Unless I'm a complete tard (which is possible I guess) They say that nothing fits the '04 because it barely passes emissions because of the internal mods, but other than that, everything on the outside should fit 99-04 just fine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think its the crank that they changed a little bit so the pistons have a longer stroke.

yes sIx that is true there may be some very slight differences also but the storke is 1.3mm longer in the 3.9 so theres the small yet major difference in the 3.8 and 3.9 anything will work between the two bolt on wise
