Exclamation HID Kit flicker....

Hey guys I just got my HID kit today and I got it installed, very easy installation. Well here is my issue, I installed only one side first just ot make sure it is working. Well when I turned the car on then the lights all I get is a flicker in the light. I double checked everything and it is connected correctly. Now I have done some research and all I can find is I need to add a relay because the car thinks the buld is not working. Now I am sure some of you have had a similar issue and I would like to know if any of you have a solution for this. Below I have included a pic of my kit so you can possibly point out the issue.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys offer and I don't want to hear just go buy one from so and so...

Kit:

Please help...

I Dont think you have Digital boxes, Not positive but... That will make a HUGE diff.

Where did you purchase them?

You have TWO ballasts right?

Yes two ballasts and I did get them from eBay, but this guy had 99.8 feedback and his stuff is under warranty for a full year. I have been told a relay will fix the issue, honestly what is the difference between the digital and regular, and of it matters the ballasts are from Germany, not China like the crappy cheap ones. Like I said I am sure it has something to do with the voltage but not to sure...

Again thx for the help, maybe someone can shed some more light on this for me.

I'm not sure about the relay problem. I have a 95 and mine clugged right in and I (knock on wood) have had no problems.
I know mine are digital, but not sure where they are made and dont think that is too relivent.
I would check the location of your balast. make sure it is not getting to HOT or WET. Mine are located between the airbox on the right side and the battery on the left.

I know that if they get too hot they will flicker as well.

Yea, well I have not even got them installed per say I just hooked everything up to make sure it works and I am getting this problem. The ballasts are from Germany and they are made by Hella and yes they are digital. The only thing I can figure is that the system is defective. So I am planning on asking for a refund, any tips on if the seller refuses a refund? Remember this is on ebay :P

PS you have any pics of your HID's at night?

Well after finding a guide on better hooking up this system I did get them up and working and they look great. I just need to get some clear lenses for the headlights now. Anyone know a good pace where I can get them cheap? I will post pics tonight and I will also post the guide for you guys too.

Later!!!
