Default Code IMRC1M(V)????

Hello all newbie here and iI have a question for all u Mustang Lovers out there...My girls car check eng light came on and she had it checked and the told her that it was reading a code as follows IMRC1M(v).....Can anyone tell me what it means or what I can do to fix it so we can get the check eng light off. Once again thanks all for ur feed back.

IMRC are intake runner controls on 01 to 04 cars.
What was the OBD II code? Should be P.......

That's not a code, CEL codes are displayed as P0000, the "P" followed by 4 digits. Is the car acting funny in any way?

not sure about the P....///////but the guy did mention something in regards to it been a stuck valve (open) in the intake runner controls on cyc 1side...will get the p.... # and post ...thanks for all so far guys

and no the vehicle seems to be running fine...mind u this happened when i had true dual exhaust put on w/flowmaster.

Well it's vacuum controlled so it is possible that a hose going to it became damaged

ok sounds good to me.quetsion...if its a possible hose where at in the eng should i look?...any pic's or descrptive will be helpful...thanks again all

look at the back of the lower intake, two little vacuum actuators on each side.

they break alot. that could be your problem
