Default F150 upper intake installed

i got kinda bored with not doing anything to my car so i found a f150 upper for 40 and got it put on yesterday. it feels good, obviously not a huge difference but i can feel it. i dont have the shaker on yet but it will go back on soon.

i know its dirty. it needs cleaned.

I was talking to Kyle about that intake the other day, does anyone have any flow numbers to say wether it's a better flowing intake or just longer runners?

And I saw your thread over on the othre site, did you get the bugs worked out?

like i said, the shaker will be going back on. you wont see the intake unless you have the hood open.

i didnt really have any problems besides time. finding a place for the coil pack is kinda a pain but i think im just going to make a bracket to mount to the firewall. other than that. it was very straight forward. the mustang tb worked, the tb cable mount is nothing but a piece 90* angle aluminum with 3 holes drilled in it then the mustang mount bolted on to it. the vacume lines were easy. i added 2 bungs to the f150 intake for the egr and fuel pressure sensor. the cai was real easy. its a piece of straight pipe. i need a mount for it too, its ziptied to the rad hose to keep it from hitting the ac compressor.

4.2L Uppers (ported) flow close to Windstar stock. I'll see if I can find exact numbers.

thanks again man. nothing compared to an m112 but for the $$$ i wont complain.

im gonna find out how much it would be just to do a pull on a local dyno to see what im making currently. i know its 100 an hour for tuning but im not sure what they would charge just to get numbers.
