Exclamation Engine issue...

my car recently had the check engine light turn on and i could feel a shaking that was not normal in my car before.
i put a computer to it and found out the reason the code was coming on was due to a misfire in cylinder 3.
on my way home the check engine light began to flicker (not turn on) when i would hit 40 mph over 2k rpms....

can anyone suggest any possibilities of what this could be?
Does anyone recomend a mechanic in the south fla/ kendall region i can take my car too?

Sounds like a coil pack is goin out on you. Or a burnt spark plug wire. You can actually check the plug wires yourself, just look for burnt spots

Flickering CEL is indication of a SEVERE misfire that could potentially cause engine damage. You need to have the engine looked out now. Stop driving it until you find a place to take it to.
