Exclamation Common Q's. Need A's

So anyways, I was driving on the road the other day with my 1999 V6 and i came to a stoplight. I was by myself until an all-blacked out GT pulls up next to me and the guy nodds. I'm just like "oh ok this is going to turn out cool." So yeah he beats me. I felt like **** because he absolutely took off past me. Also yesterday an RX-8 sped by me which also made me feel embarassed of my V6. Is there anything I can do that is cheap but will boost my engine. I already have MAC catback and a CAI. I was also wondering... my dome light never shuts off, I always take out the bulb so my battery doesn't die. What is the problem? Also my windshield wipers only work on the highest possible speed sometimes. What is the problem here?? I'm just having a bad week.

sorry to hear about the bad week. 1st, nitorus would be the "cheapest" way to 75hp...there is no other cheap, free hp for these cars, unfortunately. there are little things...like weight lightening. make sure you have no extra weight in the car, no spare tire, no jack, run it on 1/4 tank of gas, etc. Im still getting beat by GTs with the mods in my sig, so until you go forced induction or nitrous...its bye bye them, for now.

as far as the dome light...is your interior light dimmer "clicked" on full? on the left side of the steering colmun, you have your light dimmer...if it is "up" 100 percent, it clicks on your interior light, and stays on...see if that is the culprit.

im not sure about the wipers, but someone here will chime in. maybe a fuse?

hope i helped a little.

As far as power goes, if you want to play you have to pay. N20 is probably the "cheapest" route, but even then I use that term loosely as to achieve a safe set up, even on the most basic of N2O systems (dry shot), you'll still have to invest near $1000 to get all the extras to keep the kit working safely.

Dome light could be caused by a bad switch, wire, or fuse (assuming your dome light switch isn't switched on).

Windshield wipers don't work because you're motors are going bad, hit up www.latemodelrestoration.com or www.mustangsunlimited.com
