Exclamation Seat conversion hepl ASAP!!!!

I'm almost done with my seat conversion in my 1995 V6 to the 1999 GT cloth.

I'm just installing the drivers seat (last one) and the pigtails DONT MATCH UP!!!

I was told my numerous people that it's a drect conversion, How do i get the pig tails to match?

I was thinking of cutting the large female and the small male from my old SEAT and making like a conversion harness.

The wire colors also dont match either.

Anyone who can help would be a lifesaver!!!!

I would not recommend cutting and splicing the two together. The wires are diffrent colors for a reason, they have diffrent volage, amps, all that fun stuff, they also control diffrent things. Im sure Ryan, or Matt, or Nate will chime in with more help more than me.

Yeah i was hoping one of them would "chime in" but i read a past thread and just went ahead and converted it to manual for now. I think power is overrated. I will explorer my options and possibly go back to power.

I still would like any input on the tpoic of anyone has any.

Thanks.

Why not just remove the seat from the power track and replace with your old power track?

Course I havnt done that yet but I would assume that you can, if not then my bad :P

Check out a wiring diagram and see what wires do what and then go from there.

I would have changed back to my old seat track (and still can) but it is off track. the motor will engage but wont move.... anyone know how to fix this?

My old track has 1 small pigtail with 2 wires and my new one has 1 large pigtail with 4 wires. None of the wires are the same color so i didn't know if there was a conversion harness. Sunday i will get before and after pics on this thread.

junk yard or someone parting out a mustang on craigslist is your best bets
