Default THE DINGING!

okay so ive had my mustang for about a year and a half. and i cant take anymore dinging interrupting me and the girls im with in the car. the dinging of course im talking about is the seat belt dings. ive never driven without wearing my seat belt, its just when im sitting in my car with the music on and theres dings in the backround every 5 seconds. Is there a harness down by the seat where i can temp. disconnect it without cutting it or damaging it

yes the best free mod possible on our cars.... unplugging the wire to your seatbelt under the seat its easy 4 bolts to take your seat out and one wire connection for the seatbelt and one for the power seat (in case you want to remove the seat to clean the carpet) i used it as an excuse to shampoo my carpet with my seats out wich reminds me i need to do that again

I'm assuming this is with the key in the "On" position without the engine running?
Put the seat belt on, then take it off. This will make mine stop dinging.

theres a process in your owners manual to get rid of it

turn car on, wait for light to light to go off, buckle and unbuckle seat belt 3 times, turn on the headlights. turn em off, buckle and unbuckle 3 more times, wait for the light to start blinking and beeping, buckle and unbuckle one more time
