Default Car studdering on acceleration

I have a 2001 v6 manual. When I'm in 2nd-5th gear, if I am at 1700-2000 RPMS, my car studders a bit in the acceleration and I feel like the stick is shaking really weird. This problem never occurred when I bought it and I have ran it 15,000 miles in the 11 months and it's around 96,000 miles on it now. I do my oil change personally every 3k miles and this time I put synthetic oil.

I checked the air filter and it is a bit nasty and I am waiting on the CAI to be back in stock on americanmuscle.com so I am guessing it could be the air filter possibly. I was thinking if I could take the air filter out on a test run and see if it would work smooth but I don't want any chance of anything going into my engine.

could be the filter, mass air flow, or it could be your tps, or it could be your plugs

I had the same thing happen. I also have v6 3.8L Manuel 2001 Mustang. I had a tune up done which didn't fix the problem. Took my car to the ford dealership.

These are the notes on the invoice: vehicle jerks on deacceleration and acceleration above 35 mph. coil faulty. EEC TEST.DCL TEST. FUEL System TEST and IGNITION SYSTEM TEST. Found the coil faulty replaced and retested==PASSPASSPASS

PART:COIL ASY IGN unit price 148.85

it cost me about 300 to fix. I can take a picture of the part that you need to replace. Let me know if you need it.

I have not had any problems since i got it fixed.

The 300 maybe an over estimation. I took my car to the dealership labor cost is always is high. My bill came out to 450 but I also had other maintenance stuff done.
