Timing Chain or Timing Belt
I just bought a totally stock 2002 V6 with 65k on it. I wanted to know if it had a timing chain or a timing belt. Also when I should replace it... Thanks for the help.

It's should never need to be changed under normal conditions, but if you have 100k miles on it and you are tearing it apart you might as well replace it, preventable matnience ftw.

They have a double roller timing chain, or at least the 5.0s do, but it is a chain to say the least.
