Go with Sniper Special Forces tuning. With their kit and a wideband 02 Sensor you can make yourself a dyno quality tune. And it lets you tune 2 Vehicles.

Go with a tuner. Now if you insist on a chip, the only good one out right now for stangs that's reasonably affordable is the SCT 4 bank eliminator chip. I have this on my 5.0 (only because tuners don't work with them, and tuning software programs are way too expensive for my to justify buying one for use on just one car), and the thing is awesome. Economy tune is a great tune, and I have gotten a hair pin better MPG, and just because it's economy doesn't make the car sluggish, it takes off better with that tune than the stock. The performance tune is down right awesome as it eliminated the lag most 5.0s suffer in the upper RPMs, needless to say, it pulls like a beast with that thing in there. I also requested a special bit of custom tuning done to the performance tune as well to better spice things up a bit

Kewl thanks guys. Programmers are way to expensive right now to justify it. Will stick with cai/dual exhaust for now.

how about forget the CAI also as it's a waste of money. remove the stock filter and add a K&N and remove the rubber snorkel (silencer) from the filter housing. you will get the same 3-5hp gain that a CAI will give you. maybe 10hp max from a dual exhaust setup. so $15 Hp is what your looking at for a gain. UD pullies will free up another 8hp

Well you can get used tuners for moderately cheap off of ebay, just make sure that the seller is selling an unlocked tuner. Used or new, doesn't matter because they all do the same thing.

+1... Justin at VMP is awesome and his tunes are great. He has always answered any question I've ever asked him.

I think its funny how everytime someone finds out the price or figures out how difficult it will be to buy it, they turn to the exhaust!
