Default MUFFLER

I found 2 flowmaster 40's used but in good shape for $60. The only thing is they are 2.5 in/out and I want 2.25. Could you put an adapter on it to narrow it down to 2.25 and would it cause any problems?

Your muffler shop will have to flare out the ends of some piping to make it work, unless you want to go 2.5" for everything, which is what I would do if you get the mufflers.

Dosn't kill it, but it does take some away. I have longtubes and O/R H pipe on a next to stock motor and it's not that bad.

"kill" was a little harsh... but yeah it takes it away but i dunno how much

but yeah i think they have adapters that have a 2.5'' inlet/outlet side and a 2.25'' inlet/outlet
