will a 8.8 rear end from a 91 mustang fit in my 2000 v6 and what mods do i need for it?

 

you need wheel spacers and a 5 lug conversion

yup.

You'll need quite a bit. If I remember correctly, the upper control arms mount differently, similar to the thunderbird coupe's.

It's gonna be more trouble than it's worth. It most likely only has 2.73 gears, you'll need 1/2" wheel spacers, and you have to enlarge the lower control arm mount holes from 12-14mm. By the time you buy quality spacers, you're in too deep, just get a 99-04 rear.

 

then what else is done to it, cause stock was 4 lugs and drums

 

3.73 gears to. i went and looked at it. the guy wants it gone and is selling it dirt cheap. i been looking for one from a 99-04 gt but i cant find one around the cincinnati area.

 

so besides drilling the holes bigger and getting spacers what else would i need to do?
