How much would a V8 engine for a 02 manual mustang cost?
Would i have to change the tranny too?

 

It'll cost too much, just so you know. Just get a GT if you want a V8.

its either swapping into a v8 or askin bout a supercharger these days.

 

I bet your drop over $4000 if you have to ask what it takes.

just take a look at the wiring schematic for the v8 vs the v6 in the haynes book... itll help put it into perspective what your trying to do...

 

If your going to go V8, why not try and find a wrecked 03 or 04 Cobra and drop in a 6-speed, blown 4-valve hand built motor that already has forged internals. For the money you couldn't build a motor like that. Or you could just go the M112 route and profit
