your better off selling your car and using that money to buy a gt if you want a v8

because it would be a huge pain to swap in a 4.6 than it would be to sell your and put some more money down for a v8

for the total amount of money your gonna spend on a PI 4.6 swap you could do a procharger setup and get 240rwhp/280ftlbs torque which will easily pull stock PI 4.6's. believe me i know from experience

+1 to what everyone is saying.

I wanted to do an v8 swap also but the more I looked into it, it just seemed not worth it. A M112, gears, lsd, exhaust w/long tubes and your in business. Trying looking up on youtube for supercharged stangs to get an idea of how cool it will sound once you put a blower on it .

Unless you have a wrecked GT and you're machanicly inclined to swap everything over.

Still a waste. For $2000, you can make the 3.8L faster than the stock 4.6L easily.
