Default Not another "What should I Do" question!

Hey guys,

need some opinions. I have 450 dollars, and don't know where to start. My car is completely stock.

I'm thinking about getting dual flowmaster 40's. what do you guys think?

make sure if its legal, you get turndowns on the flows. makes for a much meaner sound in my opinion.

i would get an intake with that if you can, it just needs to be done

if you want fumes in your car then go for the turndowns

also if you want your car to shake like hell when your idling get turndowns

Dont do turn downs. It's loud as hell and doesnt sound beefy from the outside, though you'll think you're driving a 5.0 on the inside. Then again I have long tube headers. All you'll get is drone, get tail pipes.

definitely get tailpipes. almost everyone ive heard from that had down turns got really tired of the vibrations and the bad droning sound.

haha i got to go to the bank first, that 450 is in quarters, and they're all new quarters with the states on them, I'm sick of letting them sit there...I'm sure they won't be worth much in my lifetime anyway, so WTP?

Im thinking i can get my Flow 40's With H pipes...no turndowns, AND the CAI. What do you guys recommend on the CAI?

eyyyyyygo to the same place i went to get my 40 series it cost me 250 dollars with or with out tail pipes and with tips i obviously went without as you know and two 40 series and they made an h-pipe on my stock midpipe so if you go tith a O/R midpipe (they wont make you one there you will have to buy one) that will be 160.00 added plus mil elims which are 60 so your probably looking at all you munies right there plus you wtill owe me a ****ing drink from when you drank mine (lol)

and IMO a CAI is a waste of money unless you really like the way it looks just get a drop in K&N you will pretty much get the same gains for 40 dollars so.....

+1 On just removing your air silencer and putting in a good K&N air filter. But if you want that CAI look...AM has one for the V6 that is about $70. Not sure if they are in stock yet though... =/
