This car I have is a 1986 T-top gray mustang with a auto and a v6... The guy that owned it before me wanted to put a 460 auto in it so he never tried starting it he had it for a couple years Ive had it for almost a couple years and one day I was like this is lame why don't I just drive it till I get the new stuff ready to go in it.. I have a 351w and a t5 that need both rebuilt so either way its going to be expensive to get it running so.. I bought a new water pump, new battery, drained the gas, added new gas and additive, changed the oil and filter.. It has a small oil leak but over 2 years maybe enough to go from on tire to the other so no horrible. I notice its missing 2 freeze plugs so I got 2 new ones and put in it and filled the radiator full. I turn the key and it starts for about 1.5 secs lol Just enough to get me excited! But wont start again so I take the air cleaner off and put a cap full of gas in it and it starts for another couple secs!

So I thought maybe dirty fuel filter so I changed it and checked all the fuses tested the fuel injector everything working like it should but still not starting. Try the cap of gas a couple more times thinking its been sitting 4+ years maybe it just needs primed then I hear a sucking and all the radiator fluid in the radiator disappeared and not on the floor... So I got mad and stopped.. It sounds like head gasket no? If so is that the only thing that's keeping it from running I wonder? I tried searching but couldn't find much on the fox v6's didn't know if they changed or not... Does anyone know if there's a website that shows how to change the gaskets? My truck gets 9-11mpgs so this car would be nice to get running Agh come'on guys and gals help me... Love u

i dont think the radiator thing is a problem it probly just got sucked in and now you just need to top it off. i think i would try the fuel pump next
