With the right amound of money (unlimited supply), yeah you can do it! I wouldnt want to try it though. Its going to cost you alot of money. Your going to change the engine, wiring, k member, breaks (front and back), rear axle, rear suspention set up (IRS), all those fun things....like I said alot of money.

Good luck,
Matthew

well if something is already broken (these breaks you speak of) then they should probably be replaced anyway

Mach 1's don't have IRS. Still it would take a lot of work. If you were to find a totaled Mach 1 with a good engine you could pick it up for around 6K would be my guess.

I wouldn't say it would be 6k. Try looking around ebay to get an idea and than go to a junk yard and try to get it for lower than that. I'd start off by replacing the rear end and trans, than moving on to breaks. Once all that is done, get the motor. It's best to break this kind of stuff up into pieces because doing it all at once will drive you crazy. Trust me.

the brake booster needs changed. the rear needs a detroit truetrac, radiator, trans, wireing harness and ECU, Pats key system. K-member

alot of stuff. it will likely cost close to $6000 byt the time it's all said and done but a 4V swap is a good swap. another donor car for a 4V would be a lincoln continential. less HP than the Mach1 but you might save alot of money on the engine price then swap in the MachI intake and T-body.

if you are going to spend alot of money i would swap in a 5.4L navigator 4V engine like this one
