Right now I work at monro muffler as a tech. Today was very slow and I had a left over piece of pipe. So I took off my flowmasters exhaust off and reconnected the original y pipe. From the y pipe I welded a bent pipe that exits right past the drive side door. The car is incredibly loud now. When I took it down the street by the shop the guys there said they could hear me a mile away. It sounds incredible and has a real throtty sound. I noticed a little bit of performance top end but it may just be in my head.

 

At first it sounds great but you'd get annoyed with it fast espacially on freeway.

 

Yea it will start to bother after awhile. Not to mention a cop might not like how loud it is.

you are better off leaving the muffs on, cutting them open, taking out the chambers, and welding the it back together to have a "hollow" muff so cops wont be so quick to ticket.
