lol okay, I was getting worried you were going to tell me he sold it or something... I still really want the kit, but like I said, I'm not sure I want it right now... but $600's not bad for the kit at all (didn't they retail for like $1300 new back when jms was in business?).

The install wouldn't be too bad... I'm in school at Wyotech and literally half of my friends are body/paint guys, so I'm sure I could get one of them to do it cheap. The only problem is the supporting mods like Matt pointed out, not to mention I really want another sportbike (sold my cbr600 a few months back), and if I get the targa kit, it'll be close to $1,000 with the supporting mods, and I probably won't be able to afford the bike. Decisions, decisions

You've never been on a sportbike, have you? If not, you should try it... I was honestly amazed by how much fun even a little 600 is. Ive been going into bike withdraw since I sold it lmao

Honestly, call me crazy, but given the choice of a 600hp mustang and a bone stock modern 600cc sportbike, I'd take the bike any day... nothing like the feeling of having the bike leaned over to the edge of the tire at... well, let's just say high speeds so I don't catch any hell for speeding

*ninja edit: also, remember... personal preference... you love cars, I love bikes and cars, but I'm bike biased

i want to do it but i don't want to do it. lol i love the look but cold never sit and watch the saws all go through the roof. like the other guy said later when i have another car i may do that as well as a warranty that will replace my car if it goes bad.

lol I'm the one that said that... and I'm pretty sure the warranty wouldn't cover cutting your roof apart lol

^ technically, yes. You'd need to convert it to a hardtop first though

and stangant, I still don't think a shop would really give you a warranty per se... I'd like to think they'd pay to correct any mistakes they made, though.
