exactly. Some high school chic here has a red Mach 1. Anyone out there who is 16 or 17, Get your own damn car. I am paying for my sons insurance and that is it. He is paying for the truck itself, gas, and mantnice which he will probably do himself. Thats the best way to teach them about money. It depends on where your located too for what kind of car you get a 16 year old. Origianlly my son wanted a 5.0 but instead decided on a earlier F-250 (because of snow). Where are you located? If its somewhere you get snow then i would say get something else or a 99-04 V-6.
