Default V8 Throttle body and Plenium

Will the stock throttle body and plenium off of a 04 mustang do anything if I bolt it on my 00 v6 Mussy? I have a full exhaust with headers on my mussy. My dad got a new throttle body and plenium in his car, and he will give me his stock stuff. I heard that if you bolted the throttle body and plenium off a V8 onto your V6 it would give ya some more power? Is this a big deal to install? Any big adjustments or anything to make? Will it make a descent difference in power????

Ummmmm..........V6s don't have plenums, and the GT throttle bodies are totally different setup from a sixer.

We do have plenums...

Its any large area where air can be taken from to evenly distribute to the runners.

94-98 has a single medium sized plenum that feeds all 6 runners.
99-04 has two small plenums, one on each side of the engine, each feeds 6 runners (12 total.)

The windstar and F150 4.2L upper intakes have a much larger version of those plenums.

The plenum is used to allow for a more even intake pull instead of starving one or more runners of air.

So what are ya saying NEO? Will the stuff of the stock V8 make any difference on my V6? Or will it even fit? My dad says he saw it in a magazine somewhere that it would make a difference??????

He's describing the definition of a plenum, but as far as we're concerend:

94/95 Mustang GT/Cobra - TB->Upper/Lower Intake Manifold-> Heads
94/98 Mustang V6 - TB->Upper/Lower Intake Manifold-> Heads
96-98 Mustang GT/Cobra - TB -> Plenum-> Lower Intake-> Heads
99-04 Mustang V6 - TB-> Upper/Lower Intake Manifold-> Heads
99-04 Mustang GT - TB-> TB-> Plenum-> Lower Intake-> Heads
99/01 Cobra - TB-> Plenum-> Lower Intake-> Heads
03/04 Cobra - TB-> M-112 S/C-> Lower Intake-> Heads
