I sadly have a mustang with black body and brown top convertable. I do not like the look and want to swap it out for a black top. I got quoted $1,000 to replace it with a matching one with glass rear window. I was wondering what quality the plastic rear window is and would it be better to just get that one.

Also is a grand a good price for top and install or can I get away with getting one my self and doing it?

Also in the furture I am going to swap out the brown interior for leather seats and black paneling.
