Smile V8 Engine Swap

I have a 2004 v6 mustang and was wondering what all would be involved in putting a gt engine in it.

Yeah just buy a GT and sell your V6. Your whole driveline would have to be if you didnt want any issuses down the road.

for a v6 yes, for a GT, no

supercharged v6 = ~300 rwhp > stock 4.6 GT with ~220 rwhp

personally i would go twin turbo on a v6, you get more power for the same or slighty more money. turbos dont give off as much heat as superchargers and you can run lower boost while still keeping the horsepower.

a single turbo kit is more than enough and aloty less money that a twin kit.

and no turbos give off far more heat than any supercharger but intercooling helps all of them. turbo's are better because they are not parasitic to making power. 10psi single turbo=300rwhp 375ftlbs torque. 11psi procharger 290-300rwhp and 300ftlbs torque.

procharger is a great unit but tma turbo kits are better for overall power
