Where would you guys recommend getting some inexpensive new black racing seats and harnesses for my 96? And do I want 4 point or 5 point harnesses?

They're not really that much of an investment I just need something that sets my interior apart from everyone elses and I've already done most of the basic performance upgrades.

I would recommend ebay or Mustang magazines... I think seats would be something cool to add to your stang

racing seats are a good investment IMO....something that will hold you in tight when your going around corners is always a good thing

I don't know if you've ever sat in racing seats before but there pretty uncomfortable. The harnesses will also get annoying pretty quick especially if they have multiply places you have to buckle it. But its your car so do what you want with it.

Personally I would just get a custom apholstry. I'm thinkin of getting black leather with red trim for my front and rear seats, but this is gonna be in a few years. Seats are pretty expensive, and all that they can do performance wise is get rid of weight, and keep you snug in there. If you are looking t get rid of weight remeber the theory that every 100 pounds makes your car a tenth of a second faster. Thats only a theory, and really are you gonna get rid of that much weight to cause that much of a difference?

try finding used 99-01 cobra seats, one of the best I've sat in any mustang.
