Default 4:10's vs. Cruizing?

So here is my main concern about gears, I drive on the road far and often enough I don't want to majorly affect anything.

With my auto, stock gears, driving at 60 Now, my RPM's are at about 1850 rpm...After 4:10 gears, at 60, what would the RPM be at?

couldnt tell ya but you should be fine having an auto.

5 speed with 3.73s is about equal to an auto with 4.10s

i still average about 23mpg 50/50 highway and city driving with my 3.73s and 5 speed

I've been considering gears too and even with an auto I was leaning more towards 3.73's but I have been told alot lately that with an auto I should go 4.10, what about the motive 3.90's?

basically in the middle of 3 73s and 4 10s lol

i would just go 4 10s and be done, its not really a HUGE difference in mpg, and you will really love how much it wakes up the car

I've decided that I don't care about highway driving much anymore....I'm moving in a couple months, and will be in the city, and not in the middle of nowhere....

If you get gears make sure you get a tuner to make your speedo show the accurate speed, or some other way, but do it. Mine is showin 82 and im actually going 68mph! Im used to it now, but it still sux!

I would probably buy the tuner first...

With an auto, would the gears mess up the shift points? I don't want to buy/install gears and have it mess anything up because I don't have the tuner to correct anything...

Man you will be so upset if you go with 3.73's. I took out my 373's and went with 410's (big difference). You might get what 2-3 MPG differnce when comparing 373's to 410's. Especially being a auto 410's is most def the way to go......
