So I have $300 to put into my mustang and can't decide what to do. I have an intake and exhaust for now. I was really considering the mach 1 chin spoiler and smoked headlights with brighter bulbs. Since I got the grill delete i thought those would complete the looks of the front end. I was also considering gettin the asp udp. Is the udp hard to install? and can you feel the performance gains? Any advice would be grreat or other ideas that you think would look good. Also considering gt rims...

 

In my opinion I dont really like the Chin Spoiler.I dont think it improved the look.But its up to u. I would go with smoked headlights and brighter bulbs.

Just to let u know, I put a pair of new,brightest bulbs from sylvania but it didnt really help me out.It was a complete waste. So if u r thnking about btter vision.Go with HID's

can I get gears and an lsd for $300? and about the headlights..they didn't help? cz mine are pretty dull and I was going to order some new ones like tonight

 

Nah man I had the same problem.It didnt help out a bit so i gave it Back to Advance Auto and got my money Back.
Well if u decide to still buy it,tell me how it works out.

 

will do, I want to do the HID conversion but its just a bit expensive more me for headlights you know?

 

please do not get HIDs, your just an annoyance for oncoming traffic.

as far as gears/LSD yes you can, used gears arent too much of an issue, if i were about to pick up some stuff id get 3.55 or 3.45s (3.73s will make your top speed quite worse) with a tlok (unless your running more than 300hp then grab a auburn/detroit posi unit).. used gears should be around 100, not sure if a used LSD is an issue though.. and actually if you can grab a rear-end from a Bullitt or Mach i think they are 3.55's and has the 8.8 rear end so you could just swap the 7.5 (your stock rear) for that and be set..

 

how much do you think I can pick up an 8.8 for? And wont that be a ton of work, transfering everything and making sure everything mounts up.

 

idk how much it will cost..but im pretty sure its going to be a bit more than 300

 

I know thats the thing. I think I'm just going to get some appearence stuff like I said or the asp underdrive pulley.
