I have to agree there, once you start modding it you won't want to stop....at all.

If I would have bought a V8 I would be dead right now I think..... or broke. The only thing I wish I could have changed is get one with less miles.

Even though my V6 kicks MAJOR BUTT.. I STILL regret not getting the V8!

Wanna buy it? I'm selling it to buy a GT this Spring... https://mustangforums.com/forum/must...nice-mods.html

Thanks ya'll. From what I gather after talking to several folks is that there are V6 guys who wish they would have gotten a GT and then there are GT guys who wish they would have gotten a V6! I guess the grass is always greener. I just talked to my insurance company (allstate) and the difference is only $15 a month, so now the biggest downfall I see with the GT is fuel economy. Thanks again ya'll.

The perfect solution just came to me... buy one of each! Later.

I was happy with my old V6 for a while, but eventually it just wasnt enough for me so I switched to the GT. It honestly depends on your plans and uses for the car though.
Btw, I wouldnt worry about gas mileage because I get pretty much the same between my V6 and V8. not enough of a difference that it should be a factor in the decision...

it made 439rwhp and 402rwtq with a bone stock bottom end
and destroyed its share of 03-04cobra's

Fuel Economy will be about the same for a GT and V6 because the power to weight ratio. I would go for the GT because it will have a higher resale value if you wish to sell it later on.
