well i recently decided to paint my mustang going with a jetblack and having a friend of mind cut out a vinly for the silver on my hood. he does the Wrap around on car like u see with pepsi logos all around. so i have been doing research and i think im well prepared to do this project. decided to go with a urethance basecoat/clearcoat. so wish me luck and i will post pics of my progress i plan on sanding here shortly prob on sunday

i dident say i was alone while im doing this. but i called the auto hobby shop on base there paint booth aint under contract so we might do it in my garage. so i'll post some pics of the car once i get it prep.

Good news! i found a place to paint my car.. the base is letting me do it there ya=)

Ok so Update as of right now. got the Wing sanded down some just got to touch it up. Going to take off The bumber side skirts and rear bumper to sand.... then next day i will take out the lights and proby the moldings and sand the body. duing it very small things at a time for i dont rush things. But i have to sand the bear metal b/c the paint is starting to Crack threw. my friend told me it best to do it anyway. so i'll post some pics here shortly.

comee on red is the only way to go...well red or white. lol but personally not a fan of th silver on black but I would rock the green just to be different. But one thing your overlooking when you do it in your own garage is the dust and dirt everywhere. Thats why paint shops use paint booths that keep all the garbage out so it doens't get in your paint. My neighbor has had an autobody shop in his family for like 50 years and it was just handed over to him so I've picked up a few things along the way from him. Painted a few parts but still too scared to paint my own car lol

WEll see my interior is silver. Im not painting my car in my garage lol im using a 100,000 paint booth on base. has everything is bakes it to =D. and my friend who been painting cars for 35 years is helping me out but im doing all the shooting.
